김 흡영 교수는  2009년도 GTU Convocation Address의 강사로 초청받고, 9월 23일 강의하였다.

지금까지 David Tracy, Harvey Cox, Philip Jenkins, Alice Walker 등 세계 정상급 석학들이

강의해 왔으며, 외국에 있는 학자로는 김 대표가 처음 초청받은 것으로 알려졌다.
